Today I found one of the Purple Sandpipers (Fjæreplytt) that we have ringed, feeding along one of the ponds in the valley. The orange color-ring and the lime-colored flag with the letter-combination on was easily seen.
I also found a pair of Teals (Krikkand) in the same pond and a very photogetic female Red (Grey) Phalarope (Polarsvømmesnipe) in one of the other ponds.
